TLC Gospel Discussion Topics contains articles relating to various Gospel Doctrinal subjects arranged either by doctrinal subject, author, or by category of document. These articles are either expository in nature, compilations of quotations from scriptures, discourses, items of correspondence, or other published and unpublished works. The intent of these articles are to demonstrate the original doctrines of Mormonism, and the departure from those original doctrines, ordinances, and principles of the LDS and "fundamentalist" churches. Some of the articles are items of "correspondence" between TLC leaders and individuals investigating our teachings. These may give you some insight into the love we have for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the uncompromising way in which we believe in these eternal truths. Some of the articles in this index had a particular importance at the time they were posted to the original web site, and were considered part of a short list of "Feature Articles."
We also have a Suggested Reading list of books or materials which illustrate and document the original doctrines and ordinances of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, and those things which Joseph Smith and Brigham Young indeed taught. Some of these books and materials as well document certain critical historical events in the history of the LDS church.
