Speaking the Truth in Love
to Mormons The main point in Cares’ approach is to prepare Mormons for hearing the biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ by first getting them to realize their sinful nature and how futile it is to strive toward obtaining a “state” of perfection by following all the laws and ordinances of Mormonism. |

DNA vs. The Book of MormonFor more than 170 years, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has declared the Book of Mormon to be a scriptural and literal history. Subtitled "Another Testament of Jesus Christ," it recounts the story story of an Israelite family who immigrated to and fully populated the American continents. The Book of Mormon teaches that these Israelites are the principal ancestors of modern-day Native Americans. New discoveries in DNA research currently allow scientists to test this historical claim. |
||
The Lost Book of AbrahamThe Lost Book of Abraham is an award-winning documentary that investigates the remarkable claim that Mormon founder Joseph Smith translated a lost book of scripture from an Egyptian papyrus scroll he obtained in 1835. Hear the views of Mormon believers and World-class Egyptologists and decide for yourself. |
||
The Bible vs. the Book of MormonYou can travel to Jerusalem today, but can you travel to Zarahemla? While both the Bible and the Book of Mormon claim to be Scripture, only one holds up under historical, archaeological, geographical, and textual investigation. Which book passes the test? |

The Mormon Puzzle
A great video that seems to be aimed at the average layperson within the Christian Church. This video remains very credible as it seeks to expose true LDS teachings in light of the Truth found in Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ. The Southern Baptist Church, an organization that has over 15 million members, put out the video to prepare themselves for their 1998 national convention in Salt Lake City. Its subtitle tells the story as the video is aimed at "understanding and witnessing to Latter-day Saints". |
||
Lifting the Veil of PolygamyThis documentary examines the roots of Joseph Smith's legacy, and its modern-day fruit. We follow the compelling testimonies of nine former fundamentalists, who shed light on this practice and lifestyle which has been shrouded in secrecy since the earliest days of Mormonism; but more importantly, they share the true freedom they have found in the Jesus Christ of the Bible. |

1980 filmstrip by Eternal Quest Productions.
Filmstrip #11 of 12, “Jesus in America”. Dramatized telling of the Book
of Mormon for children. Tells the story of two little children in Zarahemla. One girl is a Lamanite and she tells us that Jesus made her dark skin skin white because she was righteous. This is a teaching found in the Book of Mormon that some find very racist, others say that it is a misinterpretation of the text. While The Church once taught that native people in North America and South America were the descendants of the Lamanites and that the Book of Mormon was a history of their ancestors, the church has now backed off of that teaching and says that they do not know who the descendants of the Lamanites are today. |

Johnny Lingo (1969) - LDS Classic Film Johnny Lingo bargains for a bride, paying an exorbitant amount and causing a sensation on the island. Being an expert trader, he knows the value of things--especially self-esteem. The First Vision The Visitation of the Father
and the Son to Joseph Smith. 1976 This is the film that was shown to me at my last missionary discussion. Only to find out 15 years later that there is 9 different versions of this, and this version was not the first documented version. |
||
Saturday's Warrior
(1989) Huge reference to the LDS doctrine of the pre-existence. This is one of the most important LDS videos ever made, this was adapted from the 1974 play. The video version has inherited the play's popularity, becoming the only-known version to another generation of Latter-day Saints. Despite its importance, many Church members take issue with its doctrine and dramatic/musical quality. Some controversy surrounded its production. |

or so of this video. This was actually recorded in a Mormon temple in
Arizona in 2016. |

2019
Endowment Ceremony
On Jan. 1, 2019, the Mormon temple endowment ceremony was changed. Women no longer have to veil their faces and no longer swear an oath to obey their husbands. Many women praised the changes as a “leap forward”. Here’s an article about the new changes published in the Salt Lake Tribune on Jan. 2, 2019 White = No Change This audio recording
was made in the Jordan River Temple on Jan. 15, 2019. |

2023 Endowment Ceremony
In early February 2023, the LDS church made additional
changes to
the temple endowment ceremony. These changes follow only 4 years since
the most recent substantial revision.
There have been several updates and changes since I attended in the
90's. The Mormon
Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) has forced
these files to be removed with apparent legal representation. After
placing them on my website host server, uploading them to Google Drive,
OneDrive, and iCloud they have all been taken down.

A History of the Mormon Temple RecommendIn Mormonism the temple is the highest and holiest place on earth. It is the house of the Lord and a place where members go to make sacred covenants with God. Each temple is unique and a special place of learning. The highest goal in the church is to get married in a temple and therefore be with your spouse and children throughout eternity. In the modern church, in order to access the temple a member must receive a recommend from their religious leaders signifying they are members in full standing and agree to all the doctrines of the church. |

Temple of the God Makers This explosive documentary shows bizarre temple rituals and shatters the facade that hides contradictory Mormon teachings. A sequel to the powerful film 'The God Makers', Temple of the God Makers exposes the paganism of Mormon temple rites practiced daily by its elitist members throughout the world. It tells the history behind blood oaths and sacrifices and of the Mormons' plan for an endgames takeover of the United States. |
||

God Makers Cartoon Clip This
cartoon represents foundational Mormon Doctrines. While many of these
doctrines or teachings are downplayed and not actually taught, they are
still part of a well documented church history, that is the foundation
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Many have posted
this video listing it as "Banned", it never was and that is
not factual. |
