The Manti Utah Edition
of the Book of Mormon is a reprint of the 1830 Palmyra Edition
with modernized chapters and verses. The errors in grammar, spelling
and punctuation as found in the original have been intentionally
preserved in this edition.
There is no footnote or cross-referencing system. A central margin [in the printed version] has been left for the reader to place his own footnotes and cross-references.
Paragraphs as found in the 1830 edition are marked with a paragraph symbol ¶. Modern chapters are contained in bold brackets [ ], while the 1830 edition chapters are signified in parentheses ( ) within the text. Original chapter headings are in CAPS or italics.
