my Husband's Testimony
I
wish to explain the testimony that I have, in regards to the True
and Living Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of the Last Days.
My discovery of this church is strong in nature, although the
journey was a less than expected trip. Growing up in a Jewish
family, I had very little exposure to Christ's teachings, the
Book of Mormon or any other doctrinal books of the Restoration.
Even though I was not raised with any of these doctrines, Heavenly
Father was always watching over me and sending me what I referred
to as little nibbles of truth, so I would gobble them up and eventually
find the path to my true home. My life as a child was full of
trials and tribulations, but I needed to go through them and experience
them, in order to get to where I am now.
My journey began when a Bible mysteriously appeared in my bedroom. I knew at that time that I needed to read this book and learn the teachings of our Savior through the words in the Bible. I realized that I had a place in this world, and that I can once again live with my Father in Heaven through the atonement, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Around this time, about one year and a half ago, I was introduced to the teachings of the Book of Mormon and the doctrines of the LDS Church. This was Heavenly Father's second way of getting me closer to the truth. Later, I had an opportunity to speak with members of the TLC, and I was taught the doctrine of Multiple Mortal Probations. I finally had answers to questions such as why we experience "deja vu" and the feeling that this is not our first time on the earth. We had been asked to come back, to finish up the work of the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times which was started by Joseph Smith,. This work will be completed by the True and Living Church today which is led by a true prophet, and not by the LDS Church and Gordon B. Hinckley, who have abandoned true Zion principles and doctrines. I have been given a strong testimony of the people of this church as being the true followers of Heavenly Father, and the builders of Zion here on this earth. I have also been given a testimony of my Heavenly Father and that Jesus Christ lived and died for us. It is our duty to complete their work, so that we will see them again and there will truly be harmony in Zion.
The LDS Church no longer teaches the true doctrines. They have changed ordinances and apostatized from true doctrines of God, taught by Joseph Smith and his contemporaries. The LDS Church is concerned with its good name and money matters rather than true teachings of Heavenly Father, our Redeemer Jesus Christ. I have come to understand through prayer, reading various books of doctrine, and attending classes through the TLC that I truly am a daughter of God. As long as I keep my covenants and remain faithful to Heavenly Father, I will never be left alone, and will be given the gifts and promises that I need to help be a builder of Zion. I will be able to finish the work of this dispensation that I was commanded to do.
I, Amy Alletto, full heartedly give myself and my talents to the building of Zion. I testify without a doubt that Heavenly Father lives and that Jesus Christ lives and died for me, and that the TLC is the true church of God upon the earth in this dispensation. This church will carry out and complete the work of this dispensation. I say this humbly and whole heartedly, in the name of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen.
