Scott Lavell Koller

I was born February 27, 1956 in Preston, Idaho, to Parley LaVell Koller and Elizabeth (Betty) Potter. I am the fourth of eight children, having five sisters and two brothers. I lived the first year and a half of my life in a basement house on my father's farm 2 miles from Weston, Idaho, and 1 mile from the Utah border. I then moved into a new home my father built in the small town of Weston, Idaho. I lived in Weston up until the fall of 1994 .

I was born into a family of active L.D.S. members, from my grandparents on both sides of my family to my parents. I grew up in the church with my parents holding many positions in the church. I went through primary on up through being an Elder. I served a full-time mission in the California Arcadia Mission from 1975 to 1977. After my mission I was active in the church, serving in the Elders Quorum presidency, primary, as Sunday School president, in a Bishopric, and Stake Mission presidency, etc... I met my wife Pamela A. Hyde at a youth conference in June of 1977 and got married Dec.15,1977. We have five children, Angela 19 who is now married to Matthew Larson and they have a baby boy named Chase, then Chris 17, Ashlee 10 (adopted from Korea), Emily 8, and David 2.

After my L.D.S. mission, I came home to help my father farm. I also worked at different jobs off and on for several years, until I bought my fathers farm with my brother, and brother in law, around 1981. After the first year and a half , both my brother and brother in law left to pursue other interests. I then took over the 1200 acre farm, and eighty cow dairy.

Growing up, I thought I had it all, living in the greatest country in the world, and belonging to the only true church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). I remember thinking I was going to live the American dream and become rich, not only temporally, but spiritually also. I remember thinking that I could have it all. I could live and participate in Babylon and receive all that it had to offer, and also receive eternal life (obtain the Celestial Kingdom), by receiving all that God had to offer through the Church. This was the mind set I had at this time of my life because of my experiences and observations of the members and leaders of the L.D.S. church. Having farmed for a number of years, and seeing the politics and government involvement and control in all aspects of our lives, I began to realize that something was wrong. In January 1990, I started to learn what these problems were in the country by listening to different men speak, and reading their books. Some of these men were Ezra Taft Benson, H. Verlan Anderson, Cleon Skousen, Hugh Nibley, Lindsey Williams, etc. After finding out about the situation we as a people were in, and reading the prophecies of the last days, by Joseph Smith Jr., John Taylor, and others of the early Prophets, I watched for the leaders of the L.D.S. Church to tell us what was going on and what we should do to rid ourselves of evil government. To my amazement, the L.D.S. leaders not only failed to warn us, but they sided with and even promoted wicked government. What was even more amazing was when I talked to the leaders of the Church about it, yes even General Authorities, I was looked down upon and even chastised for talking about what was going on. Those of us who felt this way were released from church jobs and given jobs in the Primary, Cub Scouts, or just plain released.

At this time not only were the leaders of the L.D.S. church promoting the government but also that all was well in our country as well as in Zion!!! They were making changes in the Church. I remember the year after I returned home from my L.D.S. mission when they gave the Priesthood to the seed of Cain. At the time I thought, "How can that be, knowing what the scriptures say about this?" In my ignorance I just shrugged it off thinking that the leaders new what they were doing. In 1990 when they changed the Endowment I knew that it was wrong. Their explanation as to why they did it didn’t make sense. At this time I began to study and read everything I could get my hands on. In so doing, found all the things that had been changed in the church from 1890 on; like doing away with Celestial Plural Marriage because of pressure from the government, changing the sealing principle, changing the holy garment, changing the doctrine that Adam is God, changing the doctrine of gathering to scattering, the changing of ordinances in the Endowment, of rebaptism, and the sacrament, etc. etc... During this time of discovery, I told people they needed to get prepared for the destructions that would soon start, preparatory to the Millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. I told them that all was not well in the L.D.S. Church, the Country, or the World.

Because of my studying and searching for truth, I had many questions for which I could not find answers. Such as, "How could there be so many changes in the church, from the early brethren to now? I thought it said in the scriptures that God was unchanging, and that if he did change he would cease to be God. How could the leaders of the Church change so many things that were laid down by Joseph Smith, things that he was even willing to lay down his life for and have his blood shed for?" I had known for along time that the gospel of Jesus Christ as restored by Joseph Smith was true. As everyone in the L.D.S. Church would say, as they bore their testimonies (I know the Church is true!) , I knew the Church was just the vehicle to administer the truth of the Gospel, to God's children. I was also understanding that the message of the Book of Mormon was one of Apostasy and Restoration. Over thirty times it is mentioned in the Book of Mormon, Apostasy from the truth, and Restoration to the truth. I could see fallibility in the leaders of the L.D.S. Church, not the infallibility that they continually preached of themselves. My wife and I began searching further. We found more books to read including those by Ogden Kraut and Avraham Giliadi. We were continually searching for more information. I searched for greater light and knowledge to fill the void that I felt. The church leaders were always saying to stay away from the mysteries, that “the prophet will not lead you astray”. That was in fact, contrary to the scriptures.

During this time of searching for the truth, we had a friend who had moved to Manti, Utah, where a group of people were gathering to prepare for the last days. She would call my wife and tell her of all the great spiritual experiences that they were having, and she told my wife that they even had Priesthood that worked. She would call Pam every month, and invite us to what they called ‘the Models’ (two days of extensive teaching of the missing parts of the gospel). Something always seemed to come up to keep us from going to the Models until the fall of 1994. It was a great experience, the pieces of the puzzle finally fit. The spirit rested upon me with the accompanying witness that I had prayed for. I had great joy in my heart for such a great experience. My wife and I were baptized about two weeks later, Sept. 9, 1994 and endowed the next day. There was a much greater spirit in the Endowment House than all the other experiences combined in the L.D.S. church. Shortly afterwards, I was ordained an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. I now have a purpose to my life in serving my Lord and Master Jesus Christ. I have had the opportunity to serve on two missions, one being served throughout the Midwestern part of the United States and the other one being served in England. I can say that I have had more persecution from my family and friends and more trials and hardships to endure since I have made this change in my life, but on the other hand there has never been greater witnesses of the spirit manifest to me. I have received more joy in doing the work that I am now engaged in than I ever have in my life previously.

Since then, I have been happily married for one year to my second wife, Karen Bible Smith. I had first met Karen at the models that I attended and was privileged to have her and her 7 children enter my family two years later on December 30, 1996. Her children in order of age are: Kendal (age 22), Kirk (age 20) who married Teresa Hall and they have a baby by the name of Jonathan and are expecting another little baby girl to be born soon, then Jacob (age 18), Jesse (age 15), Miriam (age 13), Aaron (age 11), and Eric (age 9). Karen also had similar desires to seek out the truth and was put down by leaders of the L.D.S. Church for studying too much from the scriptures, saying “you can be too spiritual, and you can study too much” . Because of her teaching a love of the scriptures and a love of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to her children throughout years of her raising them , she was able to have them follow her to the gathering as they also found the missing pieces to the puzzle, at the Models.

Moroni 10:5-19

5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.

7 And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever.

8 And again, I exhort you, my brethren, that ye deny not the gifts of God, for they are many; and they come from the same God. And there are different ways that these gifts are administered; but it is the same God who worketh all in all; and they are given by the manifestations of the Spirit of God unto men, to profit them.

9 For behold, to one is given by the Spirit of God, that he may teach the word of wisdom;

10 And to another, that he may teach the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

11 And to another, exceedingly great faith; and to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

12 And again, to another, that he may work mighty miracles;

13 And again, to another, that he may prophesy concerning all things;

14 And again, to another, the beholding of angels and ministering spirits;

15 And again, to another, all kinds of tongues;

16 And again, to another, the interpretation of languages and divers kinds of tongues.

17 And all these gifts come by the Spirit of Christ; and they come unto every man severally, according as he will.

18 And I would exhort you, my beloved brethren, that ye remember that every good gift cometh of Christ.

19 And I would exhort you, my beloved brethren, that ye remember that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that all these gifts of which I have spoken, which are spiritual, never will be done away, even as long as the world shall stand, only according to the unbelief of the children of men.

I bear witness that Adam is our Father and God, that Jesus Christ is his Son and our Redeemer and Savior, and that we may know the truth of all things by the power of the Holy Ghost. I also bear witness that they are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that the gifts spoken of in Moroni chapter 10 are present here in the True and Living Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of the Last Days. The L.D.S. Church no longer has these gifts, because of their unbelief and the changing of those ordinances which can not be changed.

I know that Father Adam, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost live, because I have been in their presence, and felt of their love and power. I know Satan cannot duplicate the witness of the Holy Ghost, for if he could there would be no hope. I also know that the keys and the instructions in the true Endowment teach us how to discern the difference between true and false messengers.

I testify that we do live in the last days of this Earths’ temporal existence, and that the destructions leading up to the millennial reign of our Savior Jesus Christ, have begun, and that the signs of the times are there for those who have eyes to see. I cry repentance unto the children of Israel, for the Desolations of Abominations are even at our doors, and shall go forth upon the face of this, the Promised Land, until it is utterly swept clean of all unrighteousness, and that Zion will be redeemed and this earth reclaimed for the Lord Jesus Christ. I do so solemnly witness and testify of these things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose Apostle I am. Amen.
