On Jan. 1, 2019, the Mormon temple endowment ceremony was changed. Women no longer have to veil their faces and no longer swear an oath to obey their husbands. Many women praised the changes as a “leap forward”. Here’s an article about the new changes published in the Salt Lake Tribune on Jan. 2, 2019. Faithful Mormons have been asked to not discuss the changes or the fact that changes were even made. This audio recording was made in the Jordan River Temple on Jan. 15, 2019.
